<h1>The Value of Radio Spectrum </h1>
<p><font face="Verdana">On Tuesday, the UK Regulator <strong>Ofcom</strong>
announced a consultation that put a value of £554,000 (€745.835,84 EUR) per
2 x 1MHz on spectrum at 2 GHz. </font></p>
<p><font face="Verdana">The consultation titled "Authorisation of terrestrial
mobile networks complementary to 2 GHz mobile satellite systems" said:
</font></p>
<p><font face="Verdana">"We should set AIP [Administered Incentive Pricing] at a
level consistent with current rates of AIP for other comparable bands around 2
GHz. We consider the relevant benchmark rates to be in the region of £554,000
(€745.835,84 EUR) - £713,000(€959.684,67 EUR)per 2 x 1MHz, and propose a
rate of around £554,000(€745.835,84 EUR) per 2 x 1MHz." </font></p>
