<P><STRONG>Gerd Latzin, DL2SB</STRONG>, of the Deutscher Amateur Radio Club
International Liaison Committee reports that the 70 MHz band has been assigned
to amateur radio on a secondary basis in Estonia since December, 23. </P>
<P>This regulation applies to the license classes A, B and D. <STRONG><U>Foreign
radio amateurs with a CEPT license may operate on 70 MHz as well</U></STRONG>.
</P>
<P>Permitted operating modes include CW, SSB, AM, FM and MGM. </P>
<P>The maximum output power allowed is 100 watts for the license classes A/B and
10 watts for class D on 70140 to 70300 kHz. </P>
