New syllabus: Exam pass rate figures released

The minutes of the RSGB Examinations and Syllabus Review Group (ESRG)
meeting held at the Barnes Hotel, Cardington, on February 1, 2020, are
now available to download

The minutes give the pass rate for exams run using the new syllabus.
The period covered starts September 1 but no end date is given it
could be up until the end of January. The numbers that appear in the
minutes are:
• Foundation - 429 candidates, 90 failed, 79% pass rate
• Intermediate – 73 candidates, 15 failed, 58% pass rate
• Full – 80 candidates, 36 failed, 55% pass rate
The minutes note the above figures include ‘no-shows’ by candidates.
