Record number of candidates for Radio Amateur Exam

South Africa's SARL reports, there are 167 candidates who have registered
for the RAE on May 18, a record number

There are only two exam sessions a year, in May and October.

The 90 question Class A exam for the HAREC compatible licence, equivalent
to UK Full.

The Class A RAE paper comprises 90 questions and is a single exam direct
route to the HAREC compatible Full (ZS & ZR prefix) 1 kilowatt licence.
