ARLA/CLUSTER: Commemoration of the 900 years of Knights Templar in Portugal

In order commemorate the 9 centuries' of the Templars presence in
Portugal a diploma will be granted to all the Ham radio stations who
made contact with, at least, 4 of the castles on the air, next
weekend, on 22nd, 23rd and 24th of March 2019.
The activated castles along with the corresponding station's
callsigns, transmission modes, schedules of emission and the request
of QSL and Diploma's information is as follows:

* Castro Marim Castle - CS2TCM - Operation in SSB, from Friday
22-03-2019 at 18:00 UTC until Sunday 24-03-2019 at 13:00 UTC. QSL
request to Luís Martins (CT2JYO) - ct2jyo  hotmail.com.
Application for the Diploma and further information may be attained by
the Amateur Radio Association of Ribatejo (Associação de Radioamadores
do Ribatejo) - secretaria  ct1arr.org ;

* The Village of Soure Castle - CS2TCS - Operation in SSB, from Friday
22-03-2019 at 18:00 UTC. An emission on SSTV it is also expectable, on
Saturday 23-03-2019, by Telmo Jacinto (CT2ILN). Last transmission will
take place Sunday 24-03-2019 at 13:00 UTC. QSL request to Gil (CT7ABF)

Application for the Diploma and further information may be attained by
the Amateur Radio Association of Ribatejo (Associação de Radioamadores

* Tomar Castle - CS2TCT - Operation in SSB from Friday 22-03-2019 at
18:00 UTC on. Active on Saturday 23-02-2019 all day. No operation is
anticipated for Sunday 24-02-2019.

* Castelo Branco Castle - CS2TCB - Operation in SSB from Saturday

* Santarém Castle - CS2CTS - Operation in SSB from Friday 22-03-2019
at 18:00 UTC to Sunday 24-03-2019 at 13:00 UTC.
Request for QSL, application for the Diploma and further information
may be attained by the Amateur Radio Association of Ribatejo
(Associação de Radioamadores do Ribatejo) - secretaria  ct1arr.org;

Recommended frequencies (+/- 5 kHz) at 80, 40 and 20m (according to
WCA – World Castles Award rules): 3.731 KHz; 7.131 KHz; 14.251 kHz in
SSB phone.

Note: To assure a better-quality and faster return, including the
potential requests for log book control of the contacts made with the
several Castle station's and the claim for the Diploma as well, the
Amateur Radio Association of Ribatejo (Associação de Radioamadores do
Ribatejo - ARR) requests that all QSO records to be sent by the
participants must be listed in a digital format convertible to ADIF,
since only in this way the organization can guaranteed a timely
processing of the Logs, in expectation of countless contacts that are
expected to be made.
