Dutch 2 meter propagation experiment on local television

On Friday July 19 the local television station Omroep Flevoland will pay
attention to the 2 meter propagation experiment held on July 20.

In a full hour broadcast, free to air and internet, *Johan PA3JEM* will
explain why it is important that the 2 meter band must stay exclusive for
the radio amateur services.

The local telecom administrator answered – in a request from IARU society
*VERON* to vote against the French proposal – that this French proposal
Proposal PTA(19)090R1 fits the Dutch frequency policy. But a final decision
is not made yet. The NVC (National preparation committee) has to make their
final decision in the next meeting.

“Real usage of the 2 meter band by radio amateurs and the compatibility of
shared usage has to be looked at closely.� Agentschap Telecom said.

So let’s get busy on the 2 meter band on July 20 form 17.00 utc till 19.00
