Radio hams from across India attend radio convention

Telangana Today reports radio amateurs from across the country attended the
Lamakaan Annual Radio Convention on January 19-20

The event was organised by the *Lamakaan Amateur Radio Club* and took place
in the Muffakam Jah College of Engineering and Technology in Banjara Hills,
Hyderabad.

The convention saw various technical sessions on designing and analyzing
antennas, building power supplies, 3D printing, working of satellites, and
home brewing sessions on dual-band transceiver, remote operating station to
name a few.

Hams and home brewers pan-India were present at the venue to showcase their
latest experiments with newer radio techniques and exchange information
with the participants. The event was attended by around 500 people
including students of the college, according to *B Sridhar Reddy VU3PEN*,
organiser of the convention.
