Special FT8 callsign issued in Bahrain

The Bahrain Daily Tribune carries a report on the issuing of the
amateur radio special event callsign A91FTDMC to celebrate the 2nd
anniversary of the FT8 Digital Mode Club

The newspaper reports that as part of ongoing efforts to serve the
amateur radio community in the Kingdom and the GCC (Gulf Cooperation
Council), the Information and eGovernment Authority's (iGA) Wireless
Licensing, Frequency and Monitoring Directorate issued the special
callsign.

A91FTDMC is on the air along with other FT8 special event stations
from August 10-24.
