Dear Colleagues,

"SSTV 4080" will be the first SSTV radio party in Portugal.
This event is part of a wider package of happenings called "2018 Anno
Digitalae", organized by ARLA - Asssociação de Radioamadores do
Litoral Alentejano for the 2018's calendar of activities.
As this radio party will take place on Short Waves, we invite you to
try at least to listen and receive our images next Saturday
15-09-2018.
Even for those usually dedicated to SWL, a good image session will be
a good reason to try following the event on the schedule below:

>From 21:30 (local time) 20:30 (UTC) to 22:30 (local time) 21:30 (UTC)
on 7.171 kHz LSB (+/- 5 kHz).
>From 22:30 (local time) 21:30 (UTC) to 23:30 (local time) 22:30 (UTC)
on 3.730 kHz LSB (+/- 5 kHz).

The image interchange will take place on the modes below:

Mode designation Colour Duration Lines per image
Martin M1 RGB 114 seconds 240
Robot 36 BW 36 seconds 240
Scottie S1 RGB 110 seconds 240
Scottie DX RGB 269 seconds 240
Pasokon TV PD 120 YC 126 seconds 480

Legend for colour column: RGB - red, green and blue; BW - black and
white; YC - luminance and chrominance - colour
differentiation.

The big aim of this initiative is to promote the SSTV activity, but no
more significant than that is to exchange a decent number of images as
well.
Let's hope the propagation's Gods might be on our side... and have fun!!
