 Norwegian exam success

Norway's Akademisk Radioklubb reports nine candidates passed their amateur
radio exam at Gløshaugen on Wednesday, March 7

Norway only has a single grade of Amateur Radio license, equivalent to CEPT
Class 1, that permits 1 kW power output.

The training course consists of four two hour lectures (8 hours total)
followed by a 28 question multiple choice exam.

The Akademisk Radioklubb's free course is offered in English or Norwegian,
depending on attendees. The exam is only available in the Norwegian
language. You may bring a dictionary into the exam if you are not
proficient in written Norwegian.

To get the UK equivalent of the Norwegian licence you need to pass three
multiple choice exams lasting a total of 4 hours 20 minutes and comprising
133 questions in addition to successfully completing 22 practical
