 Lightship on the move

In the 21 year history of the *International Lighthouse and Lightship
Weekend* there have been numerous lightships participating in the event, but
 *never* has one been under way from one location to another.

This year Lightship *Elbe 1*, which has been moored at Helgoland Island off
the coast of Germany on display as a museum ship, will be returning to her
home port of Cuxhaven during this year’s ILLW.
The team of German amateurs on board will be using the Club call sign
*DL0CUX/mm*

This highly popular event takes place on 18-19 August for 48 hours and
already there are over 100 entries registered on the web site

Come and join in the fun and work some rare stations at the same time.
