*Nota: Bletchley Park*, também conhecida como *Station X,* é uma antiga
instalação militar secreta localizada em Bletchley (perto de Milton Keynes

<https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckinghamshire>, na Inglaterra
<https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inglaterra>, a mais ou menos 80 km ao norte
de Londres <https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Londres>), onde funcionou
a Government Code and Cypher School (GC&CS), na qual se realizaram os
trabalhos de decifração de códigos alemães durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial
<https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segunda_Guerra_Mundial>, sendo o mais
conhecido a decifração da Lorenz e da Enigma. De acordo com o historiador
oficial da inteligência britânica, a "ultra" inteligência produzida em
Bletchley reduziu a guerra de quatro para dois anos e que, sem ela, o
resultado da guerra teria sido incerto.

One of last surviving Bletchley Park 'listeners' dies

The Forces Network reports that one of the last surviving Bletchley Park
'listeners’ who intercepted and passed Nazi messages on to Allied
codebreakers at Bletchley Park, has died

*Alison Robins*, 97, taught herself Morse code and German during World War
Two and stayed up all night eavesdropping messages from U-boats around the
British coast.

She rarely spoke about her wartime years, that were spent in isolated
points around the coastline, intercepting messages from enemy fleets.
