HB9S, estação da WOSM - World Organisation of the Scout Movement

Since 1970, HB9S is the amateur radio station of the World Scout Bureau,
based in Geneva (Switzerland).

 Today, the Global Support Center of the World Organisation of the Scout
Movement (WOSM) remains in Geneva, as the headquarters has moved in 2014 to
Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) with radio station 9M4S.

The WOSM has 28 million members world-wide. HB9S fulfills an important role
in the communication between them.

Each year in October a "Jamboree On The Air" is held, bringing many Scouts
in contact with each other via amateur radio.

HB9S operates during JOTA from Geneva Scout Center in QTH Locator JN36ae.


*During the 60th JOTA (October 21-22 2017) HB9S will be operating again
from the scout center of Geneva*



 A fim de dar oportunidade ao maior número de participantes no JOTA de
contactar a estação HB9S foi criada uma equipe de forma a poderem atender o
maior número de estações. Sendo assim solicita-se a todos os participantes
que quando entrem em contacto com esta estação tenham em conta que existem
outros que o desejam fazer como tal sejam objetivos e breves no vosso
comunicado
