German Radio Ham Map
*Ulrich Thiel DK1UT/VK2UTL* has produced a Google map of amateur radio
stations in Germany based on the based on information published by the
Federal Network Agency (BNetzA)
A Google translation of his GitHub page says:
*To demonstrate the ease of data processing with Python, I visualized the
data of the public call sign list of the Federal Network Agency using a
Python script and GoogleMaps. The result is shown below. The mergings are
single coordinates; There can be several amateur radio stations at one
coordinate. Click on the mark for more information. A red mark stands for
class A, one purple for class E and one blue for class A and E in the same
place. I briefly describe how I proceeded, because perhaps this can also be
useful for other projects. Last update: May 2017.*
Germany currently has two license classes:
Class A = CEPT Class 1 = UK Full
Class E = CEPT Novice = UK Intermediate
