History of CB radio

The website of radio amateur RF-Man has an interesting article on the
history of CB radio that covers UK usage from the mid-1960s and the early
development of CB in the USA

The UK Citizen's Band Association was formed in 1976 to campaign for a
legal CB service in the UK. The President was *James M. Bryant G4CLF* one
of the many radio amateurs who actively campaigned for legalisation.
