21 new radio amateurs in Bergen

The Norwegian Radio Relay League (NRRL) reports 21 people passed their
amateur radio exam in Bergen

The Bergen group ran a licensing course over 12 evenings from February
1 to April 26. There were 22 excited candidates who met for the exam
on Thursday evening April 27!

The written exam consisted of 28 questions of which at least 21
question have to be answered correctly.

There was a wide age spread with the youngest aged 15 and the eldest
60 years old. 21 of the candidates were successful with the other
candidate was not far short of the pass mark.

Norway has a single class of Amateur Radio license. It is thought the
single 28 question exam paper, to get the equivalent of a CEPT Class 1
licence (equal to UK Full), may be the shortest of any CEPT country.
