14th Antarctic Activity Week

The Worldwide Antarctic Program's (WAP) 14th Antarctic Activity Week
(AAW) will take place between February 20-26th.

The real purpose of the event is to foster interest in the Antarctic
region/ continent and its matters. Look for special event stations
world-wide to be available for you to work. Each has its own super
special QSL card available. Check www.waponline.it for the list of
stations, QSL routes and attractive awards. As of press time, there
were 37 stations listed to be on the air.

To commemorate the 14th International Antarctic Week, a very Special
Award will be issued to all Radio Amateurs worldwide who contact a
number of special event stations that will be active on the HF bands.
The Special Diploma will be sent free of charge in PDF format to all
participants that fulfill the required number of contacts on each
category.
