The carrier *QANTAS* is testing the National Broadband Network satellite on
its aircraft to prove viability of the service.

Air travellers on a few QANTAS jet routes domestically will benefit from a
proof-of-concept experiment over the next nine months. This gives access to
email, social media, a movie, shopping online and even watching football
live.

Wonder if it will also result in QSOs being made via EchoLink, or remote
controlled amateur stations while aeronautical mobile?
