Caro Carlos Freitas,

Desconfio que o tx do Caia (720 kHz) esteja a operar com alguns kW. Não
posso asseverar que a Antena 1 emita com 10 kW, mas não estará a sair com
apenas 1 kW. Tanto mais que a torre é relativamente baixa (bem menos de 1/4
de onda), o que, por si só, condiciona a cobertura. Se estivesse com uma
potência baixa, acredito que a recepção em Évora fosse consideravelmente
fraca. E a recepção na cidade do Geraldes Sem Pavor continua a ser
satisfatória (há zonas onde o sinal do CEN - 666 kHz Castanheira do
Ribatejo) é um pouquinho mais forte do que o dos 720, mas, no geral, a
emissão de Elvas escuta-se razoavelmente nesta região. Comparando com os
txs espanhóis em Badajoz, a recepção dos 720 kHz em Évora e um pouquinho
mais fraca que a dos 648/1125 kHz, mas tal deve-se também à modulação, que
no caso dos txs espanhóis, é mais forte que a da nossa Antena 1. Em
qualquer caso, mesmo num pequeno rádio de bolso da Sony (SRF-M97), ouve-se,
aqui por Évora e de forma muito razoável, a Antena 1 nos 720 kHz.

Não existe emissor de onda média em Vila Boim na Antena 1, mas sim apenas e
só FM, o emissor mais próximo em OM está na zona Este de Elvas (Estrada do
Caia) a caminho da fronteira de Espanha e transmite em *720Khz*. Tem muito
pouca potencia, não terá mais de *1KW* (embora esteja autorizado 10KW).

O único emissor em Espanha da RNE a transmitir na frequência *648Khz*, está
localizado em Badajoz (Carretera Madrid), chegando a Lisboa à noite como
estação local, melhor que a Antena 1 do Ribatejo em *666Khz*.

Uma curiosidade, é que estes dois emissores de Onda Media, a RNE de Badajoz
e Antena1 de Elvas, estão separados entre si em linha por apenas 18Km.
