NRAU conference in Denmark

On the weekend of August 11-13, a meeting was held at the NRAU,
Nordisk Radio Amatør Union, in Odense on the island of Funen in
Denmark, organized by EDR (Experimental Danske Radioamatører)

Such a meeting is held every three years, with organizers in the
Nordic countries. 24 participants from all over the Nordic countries
participated in this meeting.

>From NRRL, Kontaktmann joined NRAU / IARU LB3RE, HF Manager LA4LN, VHF
Manager LA6IM, and Chairman of the EMC Committee LA7BO. In addition,
the Vice President took part in the IARU LA2RR (and his XYL LA8UW).

At the meeting, issues of importance to the NRAU were discussed and
for the IARU conference in southern Germany in a month's time.
NRAU stands for the organization of the Nordic Activity Contest (NAC)
of 10 meters, VHF, UHF and SHF. And NRAU organizes the Scandinavian
Activity Contest (SAC) and NRAU Baltic Contest.

The cases for the IARU conference were reviewed, and it was found
which issues the Nordic countries would address and which they would
not support. Since every national organization has one voice at the
conference, it is an advantage if the Nordic countries coordinate
their voting so that we hopefully get the best conditions for amateur
radio in the north.
