The Alternative Amateur Radio Club #AltARC is a new national club
aimed at the Young, Hackspacers, Geeks, Nerds and anyone else

Not all existing clubs make younger people welcome or cater for their interests.

In a post on Essex Ham Mitchell 2E0EMO sets out his ideas for the new
club, he says: "As a amateur I grew tired of being a young person
wanting to play with new technologies but keep being shut down."

Mitchell would like to hear people’s views and from those who would
like to get involved and hopefully form a team.
