Foundations of Amateur Radio - Episode 72

Why do amateurs keep banging on about their antenna? What is there to
learn that can't be described in the first 30 seconds of your on-air
adventure?

This week I look at what happens if you move the feed point in a
dipole to get some insight into this seemingly crazy phenomenon.

Foundations of Amateur Radio is a weekly podcast about anything ham
radio and can be downloaded from http://podcasts.itmaze.com.au/ and
found on iTunes by searching for VK6FLAB.

If you've run out of episodes to listen to, check out the previous
series: "What use is an F-call?" which looks at Amateur Radio from the
perspective as a beginning member of the community holding an
Australian Foundation license.
