Swedish 5 MHz changes

Hi All,

This latest information just in:-

Goran, SM7DLK and Torleif, SM6YOR, report that from the end of October
2016 the Swedish Post & Telecom (PTS) regulator has been issuing
temporary (6 month) experimental licenses for 5351.5 – 5366.5 kHz with
15W EIRP. This replaces the previous four 3 KHz segments of 5310,
5320, 5380 and 5390 kHz t hat been used during the past years which
now have expired . The fee is 300 SEK (approx. 30 USD/Euros per
period).

There is still no decision if Post & Telecom will implement the WRC-15
recommendation in their national band plan. Probably not before
January 2018 or when a new national band plan is released.
