The International Day of Persons with Disabilities

The *International Day of Persons with Disabilities* takes place Saturday,
December 3, 2016, IARU Region 1 Member Societies are asked to celebrate
this day like in previous years

The International Programme for Handicapped radio Amateurs (IPHA)
recommends that Member Societies observe the day to promote Amateur Radio
among Disabled persons.
