Eleven-year-old honored as state’s youngest ham operator

On February 11 Hunter Greb KD2JUB a fifth grader in Reeds School,
Galloway, NJ was honored for being one of the youngest amateur radio
operators in the state

Sen. Jeff Van Drew (D-1st) who presented a state proclamation and
spoke highly of Hunter's accomplishments.

Vince Jones, director of public safety for Atlantic County, gave Greb
a certificate and announced that February 12 would be Hunter Greb Day
in that county.

Hunter also received a most inspirational volunteer award from the
Jersey Shore Children's Museum for weekly Morse code lessons and
foxhunts.
