ARLA/CLUSTER: Use of the band 1850-2000 kHz by the Portuguese amateur service in 2016

The Portuguese National Communications Authority - ANACOM on the
proposal of 7 Portuguese amateur associations:

- Associação de Radioamadores da Região de Lisboa;
- Associação de Radioamadores da Linha de Cascais;
- Observatório Aeroespacial AMSAT-CT;
- Radioamador Clube de Loulé:
- Associação de Radioamadores do Distrito de Leiria;
- Rede do Emissores Portugueses:
- Associação de Radioamadores do Litoral Alentejano

has authorised use of the 1850-2000 kHz band, in accordance with the
conditions stipulated in the National Table of Frequency Allocations
(QNAF) for the 1830-1850 kHz band, for participation in the following
contests during 2016:

30.01.2016 to 31.01.2016, CQ World-Wide 160 Meter Contest (CW);
20.02.2016 to 21.02.2016, ARRL International DX CW Contest;
27.02.2016 to 28.02.2016, CQ World-Wide 160 Meter Contest (SSB);
05.03.2016 to 06.03.2016, ARRL International DX Fone Contest;
26.03.2016 to 27.03.2016, CQ WW WPX SSB Contest;
21.05.2016 to 22.05.2016, Concurso S.M. El Rey de España CW;
28.05.2016 to 29.05.2016, CQ WW WPX CW Contest;
25.06.2016 to 26.06.2016, Concurso S.M. El Rey de España SSB;
09.07.2016 to 10.07.2016, IARU HF Championship Contest;
29.10.2016 to 30.10.2016, CQ WW DX SSB Contest;
26.11.2016 to 27.11.2016, CQ WW DX CW Contest;
02.12.2016 to 04.12.2016, ARRL 160-Meter Contest.

This authorisation is granted pursuant to paragraph 3 of article 5 of
Decree-Law no. 151-A/2000 of July 20, as amended by Decree-Law no.
264/2009 of September 28.

This authorisation for temporary use of the 1850-2000 kHz band may not
be used for any other purpose within the amateur service, nor in the
context of any other radio service.

Transmissions associated with such use must not cause interference to
other radio services, whereby any such occurrence of interference
shall determine the immediate cessation of transmissions in the band.

In addition, usage must comply, where applicable, with the provisions
of Decree-Law no. 53/2009 of March 2.

The present authorisation does not give rise to any obligation on
ANACOM's part, nor to any right, expectation or legally protected
interests as regards any future process related to this frequency
band.
