Anybody Out There?

In his latest blog post Chelmsford radio amateur Charlie M0PZT
explains PSK Reporter and the Reverse Beacon Network

He writes: They say that “you never know who’s listening” – which is
very true if you’ve ever called “CQ” for the heck of it on what
appears to be a dead band only to have someone reply from an
interesting location and at a signal strength you weren’t expecting.
Also, you never know what is listening!

This entry came about as a result of a few conversations at our Skills
Night – not just the newbie Ham, but those that have been away from
the hobby and returned to find that things are a little different!
