Continuo a defender a necessidade de conversar e nos entender-mos, de forma a concertar posições e a defendermos, a uma só voz, (a de todos os radioamadores associados e individuais) devidamente mandatada, os nossos interesses perante o regulador.

No boletim da ITU (dia 18) pode ler-se que a CEPT, entre os quais está Portugal, a China e a maioria dos países africanos estão a debater a inclusão dos 420 aos 450 no conjunto de frequências para telemetria e controle dos nano e pico satélites (indústria). Estes países pretendem debater o assunto já na WRC 2019.
Os USA, a Rússia e alguns países árabes querem deferir a discussão para a WRC 2023, parecendo estar contra. 

 

O utilização pelo serviço de amador, com estatuto primário na banda de frequências 430-435 e dos 438-440 MHz, bem como a banda 435-438 MHZ com estatuto secundário, podem estar em risco, nomeadamente a proteção que gozamos agora com o estatuto primário 

 

Enquanto o debate continua não seria boa ideia começarmos – radioamadores/associações – começarmos a esgrimir argumentos, isto é, fazer pressão, junto da ANACOM ?

 ITU WRC-15 <http://rsgb.org/main/files/2013/05/WRC15-logo-150x148.png> Another success!  – Our WRC-19 future agenda item draft Resolution for 50-54 MHz in Region 1 was approved on first plenary reading. This is now included in the draft WRC-19 agenda document which is currently being delayed by other proposed agenda items.

SmallSats: One of the remaining contentious issues for the WRC-19 agenda is the identification of frequency bands for SmallSat (nano and pico sats) telemetry and control. This item was first introduced to try and stop the unregulated use of SmallSats in the amateur service frequency bands. However it has developed into a political argument. Frequency bands already agreed for study include 150.05-174 MHz and 400.15-420 MHz, but there is an ongoing lengthy debate over the inclusion of 420-450 MHz in the studies. Arguments are going around and around with CEPT, China and most of the African countries wanting this frequency band included, while the US, Russian and Arab groups are insisting it be dropped. In addition, the proponents want this to go to WRC-19, whilst the opponents want the whole issue deferred to WRC-23. The debate continues.

10GHz: Meanwhile the stalemate over the 10 GHz Earth Exploration Satellite Service allocation in Agenda Item 1.12 appears to have been solved and a revised document will be submitted to plenary for approval.
