Video explores the challenges in designing and testing the balloons
used for Google's Project Loon. The balloons provide broadband links
using the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands

One of the best ways to test a balloon is to actually fly it and then
bring back to land for analysis. But, what if it was possible to test
and measure balloon performance without it ever having to leave the
ground?

In this video, manufacturing lead Mahesh Krishnaswamy shows us how the
team have been able to accelerate improvements in balloon lifetime,
design and manufacturing - by bringing the stratosphere down to Earth!
