Icom Japan has announced that a new version of firmware (Release E2) 
will be available for download as of January 14, 2014
The DSP firmware update corrects the IC-7100's DTMF tone level
"DSP | 1.01" will be shown on the screen after this firmware upgrade.

To verify the firmware version as follows:
1 Push SET to enter Set mode
2. Touch the version item of the "Others" Set mode item
3 Confirm the current versions
4 Push SET to exit the Set mode

Before updating the firmware, download the updates installation guide 
using the link on the firmware update page
Remember, this will be available from Jan 14, 2014
