Meteor Scatter for Beginners video
Paul Whatton G4DCV has released a video of the Meteor Scatter for
Beginners using FSK441 presentation given by Lyndon Leach GW8JLY on
October 12, 2013 at the RSGB Convention.
The HD video is available to view or download at
http://vimeo.com/77358505
FSK441 is one of the modes in the free WSJT Weak Signal communications
software developed by Joe Taylor K1JT. FSK441 has been specifically
designed for meteor scatter. It can use random meteors that are
available throughout the year. It works best in the range 800 km to
1800 km where contacts on 144 MHz can be completed with 100 watts or
less and a single yagi in typically 40 minutes.
