JOTA 434 MHz balloon launch
During Jamboree On The Air it's hoped to launch a balloon that will
transmit the message 'Scouts JOTA Youlbury Oxford UK' on 434.300 MHz
USB
Steve G0TDJ hopes to launch the balloon on Sunday, October 20 from the
Scout center in Youlbury, Oxford. The launch is entirely dependent on
local weather conditions. If the weather is unsuitable the launch will
be postponed to a later date.
Payload: VAYU-1
Frequency: 434.300MHz USB +/- Drift
Mode: RTTY 50 7n2
Launch site: Lat = 51.724227 Lon = -1.301292
Launch time: 12:30 + weather/travel etc.
Telemetry: Callsign, Sentence No, Time HH:MM:SS, Lat, Lon, Altitude,
Distance from Launch, Satellites, GPS Mode, Power Save Mode, Battery
Voltage, Internal Temp.
Interleaved with the telemetry, every 10 sentences will be 'Scouts
JOTA Youlbury Oxford UK - http://3dcu.be/trackhab'
