Cote D'Ivoire amateur radio solidarity operation
Ham radio operators Chris F4WBN (ex-TL0A), Paul F6EXV and Jan DJ8NK
will be active as TU5AX, TU5XV and TU5NK, respectively, for an amateur
radio solidarity operation, taking place until November 30th.
Activity will be on SSB, CW and RTTY, with operations on 160-6 meters
(including 60m).
Suggested frequencies are:
CW - 1826.5, 3524, 7024, 10104, 14024, 18084, 21024, 24894 and 28024 kHz
SSB - 3799, 5371.5/5403.5, 7070, 14190, 18150, 2190, 24950 and 28490 kHz
RTTY - 7050, 10138, 14080, 18100, 21080, 24920 and 28080 kHz
6m - 50104/CW and 50150/SSB kHz
QSL via their home callsigns, by the Bureau, direct or the OQRS on
Clublog. The logs for TU5NK and TU5XV will be posted on LoTW shortly
after the DXpedition ends.
Jan says: "The 3 operators will support the club station TU2CI and
will leave equipment behind (radios and antennas), install them and
train the local operators to use it in order to revive the Abidjan
radio club, and assist some local hams who have strongly suffered from
the civil war that hit the country sometime ago."
