A Social Mesh ?

In this episode of HamRadioNow, Gary KN4AQ features a presentation given to the ARRL TAPR Digital Communications Conference on the Social Mesh.

Is there another way to distribute the mobile Internet? How about if every one of us becomes a little node and we spread the data around to each other?

Too radical? Maybe not. Sri (Devabhaktuni Srikrishna) has the background to make this suggestion serious. So check out his talk at the ARRL TAPR 2012 DCC and see if maybe he's got something here. One thing for sure - the incumbent network providers won't like it.
