 DARC Repair Cafe

The Deutscher Amateur Radio Club (DARC) have released a video of
German radio hams who held a Repair Cafe in Rosengärtchen

The event was held on October 26, 2013, for the second time, and it
attracted 40 visitors who brought in their defective applicances for
repair.

The repair cafe concept originates from The Netherlands and encourages
people to repair, reuse and recycle their possessions to reduce waste
and reverse the rise of a disposable culture. With access to tools and
expert advice, participants are able to repair their own household
goods.
