Retirees take up ham radio
It's not just the young getting involved in amateur radio, the Deccan
Chronicle reports an increasing number of retirees are doing so
The Deccan Chronicle interviews K.B. Sreemurugan VU3KBN of the Space
Rays amateur radio club in Thrissur, Kerala. The club is just starting
a ham radio training course and the newspaper says that "amazingly,
this time, most of the applicants are ex-officials from different
services, who want to kill the boredom in their retired lives and
learn something useful."
