CR5IARU - World Amateur Radio Day 2013

On April 18, 2013 the Portuguese national society will celebrate World Amateur Radio Day with the callsign CR5IARU

April 18 is the 88th Anniversary of the founding of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) and is being celebrated by radio amateurs around the world.

This theme for this year World Amateur Radio Day is:
"Amateur Radio: Entering Its Second Century of Disaster Communications"

The REP-Rede dos Emissores Portugueses will activate the special callsign CR5IARU on April 13-19 on all bands.
