Continued decline in Friedrichshafen attendance

The numbers attending the Friedrichshafen Ham Radio event fell again this year.

Just 14,800 people attended the Ham Radio 2012 event continuing the steady decline in attendance that's been seen in recent years.

In 2009 there were 17,400 visitors, falling to 16,800 in 2010 and 16,300 in 2011.

The event did, however, see an increase in the number of exhibitors, 203 this year as against 184 in 2011 and those who made the journey seemed to enjoy the event which is the largest of its kind in Europe.
