News from PowAbeam Antennas

Derek Hilleard G4CQM reports on the latest news from PowAbeam Antennas...

2012 really has been a turning point for PowAbeam Antennas with interest in and further development of G4CQM's FLOWA YAGI...

Roger Banks GW4WND of the DX Shop has recently built, tested and installed a 6CQM7UX DX FLOWA YAGI for the 'Magic Band' and was amazed at the results with his very first QSO working W7GJ (DN27) on EME!

Meanwhile David Ross GI4SNA has built, tested and installed 4 x CQM30UC FLOWA YAGIS for 432MHz the 70cm band as those of you who work the RSGB 432MHz UKAC will have recently discovered!

Jerry Ward G4JQN and member of the Trowbridge & District Amateur Radio Club has just finished his project, the 1296MHZ 23CM NXTGEN32 MK2 32 ELEMENT YAGI BEAM ANTENNA...

Interest from fellow Radio Amateurs in Australia and the U.S.A. has been growing rapidly and BILL VK2ZCV has provided some great pictures of his project building the 2M8N50DX (SPECIAL VK VERSION) with an improved MK2 version now published. Bill even worked across the ocean with a contact on Tropo into ZL.
