New Book publication!

As many have learned, "Radio Mobile" is a highly sophisticated piece
of software for use in the simulation of VHF to Microwave propagation.
Yet another valuable tool to assist in the use of the power of the PC
to make contacts all the more predictable.

And, it's FREE which is amazing considering how feature-packed and
capable it is, authored by Roger Coudé, VE2DBE. It has been translated
into several languages on great demand!

Back in May 2011, antenneX published a 350-page Illustrated Handbook
about how to use this special software. The book, authored by Ian D.
Brown, G3TVU, is a "must-have" reference for anyone wishing to quickly
explore the workings of Radio Mobile in all its facets and to produce
the type of radio signal coverage plots they require. This Illustrated
Handbook makes the learning process intuitive and easier, plus
includes an installer program.

Now, we have published a new 184-page book authored by Ian entitled
"Radio Mobile Handbook Companion." This new book has been written to
act as a complimentary tutorial taking users through each Handbook
chapter in turn. This allows users to experiment with the program and
produce their own versions of the chapter illustrations and thus gain
experience of the functions and features as described in the Radio
Mobile Handbook.

The Handbook Companion is supplied complete with a set of
‘Demonstration Networks’ in a folder which can be copied directly into
the users Radio Mobile networks folder. By accessing any of these
chapter numbered networks (which contain the correct number of
deployed units and Radio Operating System settings), each chapter
illustration can be reproduced by following the descriptive text. In
addition any relevant updated program features relating to a
particular chapter have been included in the chapter descriptions.

The PDF book format used for both books is fully searchable for any
required keywords or topics. The books are available by download
anywhere or on a shippable CD-ROM.
