X-ray space telescope continues to descend toward Earth. Multiple 
experts agree that re-entry should occur on Oct. 23rd, with most 
favoring the early hours of the day. With uncertainties exceeding 8 
hours, however, it is still impossible to say exactly where ROSAT will 
disintegrate.

Segundo o site oficial, o ROSAT terá 30 componentes que pela sua 
construção devem resistir ao atrito da reentrada atmosférica e chegarem 
ao solo.
O maior dos componentes nestas condições é o espelho de cerca de 1,7 
toneladas.

Com tantos satélites a retornarem actualmente, um destes dias há danos 
sérios (ou já houve).
Para quem não reparou, apesar da versão oficial dizer que o UARS caiu no 
pacifico, há diversas teorias da conspiração que relacionam por exemplo 
uma estranha explosão na Argentina com a queda dele ...
