Elements that must append the application for special authorization
under paragraph 1 of Article 14 of Decree-Law No. 53/2009 of March the
2nd, for simplex mode stations connected to the landline network
(landline simplex connections - LSC).

1. The application for LSC stations should contain the following elements:

a) Identification of the society (association) responsible for the
station license;

b) Description and justification concerning the need for installing
the station in a given area/location;

c) Intended coverage area;

d) Precise location of the supporting infrastructure, with an error
less than 10 metres, using a satellite aerial image of “Google Earthâ€
or similar source;

e) Height of antennas regarding the soil bellow, installed in a
support tower or mast, indicating if other stations share the same
support infrastructure;

g) Information regarding an amateur radio (category 1, A or B)
responsible for the station's maintenance, and the required data for
immediate contact in case of need: landline telephone, mobile
telephone and e-mail address;

h) Proposal for the station's call sign, bearing in mind that the call
signs for these stations will be CS3Gxxx, CS4Gxxx and CS5Gxxx,
respectively for MDR, AZR e POR;

i) Proposed channel operation and protection tone, according with the
defined in tables 1 and 2.

4. Frequency plans, reuse and protection tones for the area in the
geographic POR mainland area are shown in Tables 1 and 2 and Figure 1.

5. In geographical areas located at MDR and AZR archipelagos, the
assignment of frequencies and the definition of the of protection
tones will be studied case by case, taking into consideration the
provisions in Tables 1 and 2.

(**) – The assignment of these protection tones in particular can be
evaluated by means of individual case study.
