Norway to end national analoge FM

The Norwegian Government has announced plans that would see the national public and commercial radio services ceasing FM broadcasts in 2017.

A report on RWonline quotes a Government press release as saying "The radio industry wants a liquidation [of FM], and the government now takes active steps to facilitate a transition to digital radio and to take care of listeners’ interests.”
