Boas.
Se lessem mais e copiassem menos talvez não fosse pior.
Quem quiser saber qualquer coisa mais convém procurar a fonte certa, aqui só
echolinks, e Brasileirices de gosto duvidoso.

Assunto: RE: ARLA/CLUSTER: Amanhã, 11 Abril activação do ARISSAT-1

imagens em SSTV;

145,919 MHz CW - beacon com indicativo do satélite, telemetria e indicativos
de radioamadores activamente envolvidos no programa ARISS;

145.920 MHz SSB BPSK-1000 - telemetria.

O satélite irá operar com recurso apenas à bateria interna, pelo que toda a
operação será realizada em baixa potência e as transmissões decorrerão de
acordo com o seguinte ciclo: 40-60 segundos ON seguidas de 2 minutos OFF.

ARISSat-1 to be Activated Aboard ISS Starting April 11

The ARISSat-1 satellite, presently still inside the ISS, will be turned on
and use an external antenna to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Yuri
Gagarin's first manned space flight. The transmissions will begin on Monday
11 April 2011 at 14:30 UTC and continue until 10:30 UTC on 13 April 2011.

Due to the fact that the solar panels are covered, the satellite will be
powered only by the onboard battery. The satellite will run in low power
mode. This means that the transmissions will cycle ON/OFF. They will be ON
for 40-60 seconds and OFF for 2 minutes.

145.950 MHz FM Downlink:
FM transmissions will cycle between a voice ID, select telemetry values, 24
international greeting messages in 15 languages and SSTV images. One of the
messages will be a conversation between Yuri Gagarin and ground control.

145.919 MHz CW Beacon
The CW transmissions will be callsign ID, select telemetry, and callsigns of
people actively involved with the ARISS program.

145.920 MHz SSB BPSK-1000 Telemetry
The BPSK transmissions will feature a new 1kBPSK protocol developed by Phil
Karn, KA9Q to be readable in low signal level conditions. The BPSK data will
transmit satellite telemetry. Given the low duty cycle of the spacecraft,
those planning to receive the digital telemetry are encouraged to record the
entire signal band using the FunCube dongle or SDR-IQ receivers. Download

29.pdf> .

Note that the linear transponder will not be active during this event.
Specific only to this event, planning is currently underway to provide an
additional FM broadcast downlink at 437.550 MHz.

AMSAT will issue commemorative certificates to those receiving the
transmissions and sending an email to gagarin arissat1.org with your name or
group, a description of what you heard and the UTC time you heard it.
Recording the battery voltage values and the UTC time you received them will
be especially helpful.

Listen to the podcast with Dave Jordan, AA4KN, on the air talking about
ARISSat-1 on NPR's "Science Friday"

4 min: 40 sec point)

Roscosmos has announced that the satellite will be deployed into orbit
during the next EVA in July of this year.

A fiar pelas informações do "Heavens Above" (

Portugal Continental, só teremos passagens visíveis da ISS pelas madrugadas
pelo que quem quiser receber alguma coisa vai ter de deixar os equipamentos
ligados e a gravar ou colocar o despertador a tocar a meio da noite!!!
