UNITEC-1 in orbit
The launch of the Amateur Radio Venus satellite *UNITEC-1* yesterday was a
success and, as at 23:05 UT on Thursday, May 20, it appeared that it had
separated from the H-IIA F17 launcher.
UNITEC-1 carries a 5840.0 MHz Amateur Radio beacon and should become the
Interplanetary Amateur Radio satellite.
