Ham Radio DXpedition to Mozambique

Since going to Hawane in Swaziland with the IRTS 75th Anniversary DXpedition in March 2007, David, GI4FUM has been working with Daniel Hubbard ZS6JR and Bob Wood (formerly African DX Safaris - now CQ-DX African Safaris) to promote amateur radio DXpeditions to African locations.

There is a web page at http://www.3da0ss.net/ which gives the latest information.

There is a DXpedition to Mozambique in October 2010 which will include a JOTA operation from the capital Maputu and a CQWW SSB contest operation from Xai Xai (approx 200km North of Maputu). So far those who have expressed interest in the DXpedition are mostly CDXC members.

For more information on the DXpedition check out the
web pages at www.3da0ss.net<http://www.3da0ss.net/>
