Nature Conservation Association looking for Radio Hams

The Heinsberg district chapter of the Nature Conservation Association (NABU) is looking for ham radio operators willing to support a study into a very rare bat species in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The bats, fitted with 150 MHz transmitters, are located at the German-Dutch border on the southern edge of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park.

NABU Heinsberg is also looking for wireless hand-held scanners for 150 MHz (AM).
