Digital Radio Delivery Group
The UK Goverment plans to end all AM and National FM broadcasting in 2015 with all stations moving to the 200 MHz DAB band.
The Digital Radio Delivery Group (DRDG) is to be the body charged with meeting that target.
The Guardian newspaper reports that the UK Digital Radio Development Bureau is to be dismantled and incorporated into a new body charged with meeting the government's 2015 digital radio switchover target. The newly-created Digital Radio Delivery Group will take over DRDB's responsibilities.

* When the radio digital switchover happens in 2015 potentially hundreds of millions of AM and FM radios in the UK will be rendered useless.
