The UK regulator Ofcom has published a consultation on the issues to be covered during the World Radiocommunication Conference 2012 (WRC-12)

Held approximately every four years, the WRC is where changes to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Radio Regulations are made, defining the rights and obligations for use of the radio spectrum. 

The purpose of the consultation is to seek views from stakeholders with an interest in the issues on the WRC-12 agenda.

Among the questions in the consultation is:

Question 23: Should amateur radio be given an allocation in part of the band 415 - 526.5 kHz, and if so where?
