Acording to event organizer Greg Mossop, G0DUB, the GlobalSET is an exercise<http://www.iaru-r1.org/GlobalSETNov08Rules-English.pdf> for headquarters stations of IARU Member Societies and the stations of emergency communications groups - it is not a contest.

TIME/DATE
November 8th, 2008 at 04.00 - 08.00 utc.

Rules Notes:
- Messages relayed between stations should not be altered, this includes the 'time' at the start of the message. Changing this will stop us measuring the time taken for a message to be passed.
- Stations should add their callsign to the end of a message to be relayed before sending it

Activity will be concentrated around the IARU Emergency Centre of Activity frequencies.
